How to Be Productive During the Pandemic

Stay healthy, happy, and motivated with the following tips on how to stay productive during quarantine.

  • Get dressed up
    You might not see the purpose of getting ready just to stay at home; however, getting dressed, putting on make-up, or styling your hair boosts your energy! This will help you get the right start to a productive day!
  • Increase your motivation by listening to some good music

  • Stay active
    Trying to stay physically fit in these times is extremely important, as it boosts motivation, setting the tone for a productive day. You only need to spend around 20-30 minutes per day to feel much better! Check out this Youtube workout video for some inspiration.
  • Create a massive to-do list
    Cleaning out the basement? Fixing the porch? Buying those new boots online? Create a to-do list for all the things you didn’t have time to do whilst you were still running around with a hectic schedule and tick them off one by one as the days go by!
  • Start early on your spring cleaning
    It has been proven that cleaning and/or organising at least one thing per day can boost motivation so go through your closet, kitchen, or storage room and see if certain items still bring you joy – Marie Kondo style.
  • Maintain regular hours & create a routine
    Humans are creatures of habit – take your dog out for a walk every morning at 7am, have a coffee at 9am, or take breaks from work every day at 12pm – even the small things can bring more stability into your life, naturally raising your productivity levels.
  • Organise a dedicated work-space
    Having to work in an environment where you usually relax can be tough. If you can, try to dedicate one area of your home just to work. Ideally, this should be an area with a lot of natural light to increase productivity and decrease eye fatigue.
  • Lastly – create a bucket list of all the things you want to do when we’re all outside again!
