The KALAB Team is Expanding

Last week our humble team of five welcomed two new members, let’s get to know them!

Meet Fanny, our new Artist Acquisition Officer in charge of discovering the artist community present on TikTok.

Fanny Tang

She was born and raised in Paris but has a Chinese origin – fluent in both languages! Fanny is in her final year at EHL, where she is also the President of the Music Committee!

As the President of the Music Committee, Fanny plays an impressive variety of instruments:

  • Piano
  • Violin
  • Saxophone
  • Bass
  • Guitar
  • Ukelele

Apart from being gifted as a musician herself, Fanny undertook a 6-month administrative internship in a scale-up, so she is also able to bring some start-up experience to the team.

Fanny decided to join KALAB because she loves music and the arts in general. It is extremely important to her to be able to share her passion and she would love to contribute in getting artists more opportunities to perform.

I sing and play the ‘humorous duet for two cats’ (soprano) Duetto buffo du due gatti from Gioachino Rossini but have never performed it in front of anyone…
– Fanny’s fun fact

Now let’s meet Benjamin, our new Artist Acquisition Officer in charge of Swiss artist acquisition.

Benjamin is from Fribourg, Switzerland and also studies at EHL. He knows Fanny because he is also a member of the Music Committee, which is also how he came across KALAB!

Benjamin Risse

Benjamin is also a gifted musician and plays many instruments:

  • Violin
  • Viola
  • Piano

Benjamin wants to work in the music industry after completing his Bachelor, so he hopes that KALAB can provide him with some valuable insights for the future. He looks forward to creating long lasting new relationships with artists, companies, and professionals in the music industry.

“Never try to communicate with me when I am listening to Jazz, you’d waste your time ;)”
– Benjamin’s fun fact

We hope that you’re as excited as we are to have Fanny and Benjamin join our team!
